FAQs

Who’s behind all of this movement of hope, and what’s their motivation?

We are simply humans who want to do our part to make connections with our fellow man-kind. Simply put, we are simple people who believe that connecting with another human in a meaningful way can bring hope. And we think we can all agree that our world needs some hope.

Our intention is to share the message of icu with as many people as possible and get everyone in the world icu-ing!!!

This sounds super cool. How do I get involved?

  1. You can Join Our Movement. While it doesn’t “cost” money to join, we are funding this ourselves. Feel free to “share the love” through a donation (plus it’s tax-deductible. Yes, we’re a legit 501(c)3:).Join the Movement

  2. Got services we need and want to contribute (aka donate services and products) to the cause? Email us NOW! Hello@theunbroken.org

Is this a faith-based movement?

This is a movement about humans connecting with other humans in a simple, yet meaningful way. Our goal is to find ways we are alike versus different. We don’t get caught up in religion.

Do you all have live events?

YES! We certainly hope our events aren’t “dead.”

JUST KIDDING!!!! Get it, “live” events versus “dead” events. YES, this is some of the corny humor you will hear at our events.

SERIOUSLY…..

We’d love to come to your city, town, or organization. It’s super simple. You cover our expenses to get there, pay for our time as you feel moved to, and get the people in the seats. We’ll do the rest aka i.c.u. in a really cool way.

Ummm…what’s up with your social?

We appreciate social media and know it can help expand our movement.

What we’ve experienced is that sometimes capturing the moment kills connecting with the human in front of us. So….be patient as we learn to balance this tension.

Your bright pink color is a little sus. Please explain.

Pink is known to symbolize connection, nurturing, and leading from the heart. That’s what unbroken and the icu challenge are all about - thus the bright, obnoxious pink:)

You use the word, “simple” a lot. It seems redundant. Can you find another word?

Nope. We overuse the word “simple” to remind us not to make this complicated. We’re trying to get back to the basics.
